Job description Systems Administrator

For our client’s ICT department we are currently searching for a System Administrator. You will be a member of the European Infrastructure Team responsible for all ERP and back-office systems including their related infrastructure components, housed in two datacenters and in smaller locations around Europe. The infrastructure team designs, implements, administer and monitor all components in the system landscape. The team also manages several 3rd parties involved in any of the mentioned tasks.
In the position of Systems Administrator you are responsible for the daily administration, monitoring and reporting of the ERP and back-office systems, as well as their related infrastructure components. You will act as the team first line support for all issues and change requests. You are the contact person for the other teams within the ICT department as part of an escalation process. In this position you are the key in identifying potential larger problems, before they happen, through trends and smaller symptoms. You can work in a structured and standardized fashion, but are also innovative in optimizing the administration and monitoring tasks.

Job requirements Systems Administrator

You have management experience with the following software packages:
Active Directory Windows 2003 2008 (32Bit64Bit)
User Group Management
Policy Management
Replication, etc
Microsoft SQL Server Version 2000, 2003, 2008
Microsoft Exchange (2003 2010)
User Mailbox troubleshooting, Routing issues, NDR’s, etc
ESX 3.5 4.1 (4.2) – Server Migration, Storage Migration
SAP Basis (Pre) – Helpdesk tooling for ticket management, tracking, reporting
Print servers
Creating print queue, uploading drivers, replacing, troubleshooting
Citrix Environment (XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop)
Office 2000, 2003, 2007 and 2010. Additional skills:
Fluent in English verbally and written
No 9 to 5 mentality
In possession of driver license B
You have an analytical mind and are capable of thinking logical to troubleshoot problems and identify issues based on symptoms.
You have to ability to explain and teach to other teams when needed
You need to be able to cope with stress at time and high pressure
