We are seeking an entrepreneurial and inspired Director Corporate Communications, with a special interest in Internal communications Change management, to carry this discipline further. As Director you will be responsible for strategic consultancy on corporate communications and positioning for customers in various industries. You will assume final responsibility for the planning and execution of strategic communication programmes, while leading the account teams. In addition, you have experience in digital communications and you are able to apply this at a strategic level.
The new Director is enthusiastic about taking the lead in ‘Internal Communications Change Management’, one of the focus areas of Fleishman-Hillard Amsterdam. He/she has excellent management and leadership skills and takes initiative in developing new business activities.
We expect the candidate to closely collaborate with the Fleishman-Hillard management as well as with the other members of the Dutch team and the global Practice Groups.
We are looking for a candidate who brings thorough knowledge of the Dutch market and a wide network in that market. He/she demonstrates particular interest in Internal Communications Change Management. Our new colleague will work with local and global clients in a highly dynamic environment. Key tasks and requirements include:
- Broad background in Corporate Communication / Reputation Management. MCC is an advantage.
- Understanding of developments in the area of digital/social media.
- Ability to link communication goals to specific KPIs, allowing efforts for our clients to be made measurable.
- Experience with managing budgets and determining customer ROI.
- Affinity and experience with media training and messaging workshops.
- Wide experience in management roles.
- Business development experience.
- Strong focus on client service.
- Understanding of the role and impact of digital and other channels for internal communications change management, and the ability to put them into practice.
In short, we are looking for a professional team player with a high level of autonomy and an entrepreneurial spirit. Understanding of digital communications and experience with online social networks, marketing and media relations and/or grassroots outreach are key requirements. The Director will lead local and international pitch presentations and proposals, and has excellent writing and presentation skills, both in English and Dutch.
The new Director is expected to have strong account management capabilities, supported by proven skills in managing and building client relations. Our new colleague has a college or university degree and at least 15 years relevant work experience. Agency experience is an advantage.
