our client is an Amsterdam based office of a global, US owned brand. Established in the US in the early ‘80s and opening in Europe and around the world since the early ‘90s they have experienced rapid growth. They now have a vacancy for an Inside Sales Manager EMEA to join the team in Schiphol-Rijk and continue to build on our success.
The role of the Inside Sales Manager is to be responsible for the EMEA Inside Sales team, ensuring all direct customers and local sales offices are receiving the level of support according to the Service Level Agreements. This role carries the responsibility for the maintenance and the enhancement of the Inside Sales team working procedures, being the communication point between other departments and Inside Sales.

The Inside Sales Manager is also relied on for identifying opportunities that may lead to enhanced revenue for the company and better service for customers as well as providing personal growth and opportunities for each member of the Inside Sales department.

The specific responsibilities of the role include

Offer support to the EMEA Customers and Sales Teams as defined within Service Level Agreements.
Work closely with the Sales Directors to identify obstacles and address challenges for the team that are impacting service or efficiency
Review / define and implement SLAs, processes and procedures for local sales offices and CSR teams. Create, monitor and maintain department KPIs.
Enhance methodologies and procedures to maximize efficiencies.
Support the creation of a Budget for the Inside Sales team – meet quarterly and yearly targets
Work closely with the IS teams to develop and implement new and more efficient processes that will enhance productivity throughout the Operations.
Provide the tools that will help everybody work efficiently and accurately.
Manage continuity of service through peaks in demand.
Evaluate each member of the Sales Support/CSR team.
Set, monitor and deliver personal and team objectives.
Ensure the teams are constantly updated regarding their knowledge of their Products and specifically introduction of new product launches.
Ensure that the team understand and operate within their Philosophy and support in-house Policies and Strategies.
Maintain / enhance team spirit and promote collective approach and responsibility

You will have at least 2 years experience in a similar/managerial role. Strong Inside Sales/Customer Service background and proven track record. You will have strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Proven experience in team development and sales order management. Strong analytical and organisational skills and above all excellent communication skills. You will also be a confident and capable user of Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point and Visio.
